Won Aga Khan Studs Blenheim Stakes L 1200m, Curragh, by 0.75 lengths from Imperial Dancer.
“Looked to have a good chance on his maiden win last time and justified favouritism on this softer ground, travelling well on the outside and ridden out after leading with over 1f to go; he’ll stay at least 7f and is open to further improvement” - Timeform.
3-y-o: 2nd Loughbrown Stakes L 1400m, Curragh, beaten 2 lengths by Lethal Agenda.
“A failure to settle dented the chances of Black Minnaloushe” - Racing Post.

Won St James’s Palace Stakes G1 1600m, Ascot, by a neck from Noverre.
“This looked another strong renewal of this race, well up to its G1 standard, with two Guineas winners and another G1 victor in Olden Times fighting out a bobbing finish after a strongly run contest” - Racing Post.
“Responding splendidly to shade the issue close home” - Timeform.
5th Coral Eurobet Eclipse Stakes G1 2000m, Sandown Park, beaten 0.75 lengths by Medicean.
“His rider felt he would have been 2nd but for running out of room inside the final furlong” - Racing Post.

St James’s Palace Stakes (Group 1)

Black Minnaloushe (USA) wins the St James’s Palace Stakes G1 over 1600m at Ascot by a neck from Noverre, Olden Times and Vahorimix.
Black Minnaloushe showed plenty of the qualities of his former stablemate, Giant’s Causeway, who won this race last year. He had to weave through to challenge after being taken over to the rail from his low draw. That initial move helped put him off the fast pace which proved vital, but he has a good turn of foot which could ultimately see him challenge for the Breeders’ Cup Classic” - Racing Post.
